Welcome to Akron-Canton Shambhala
Calendar change: Starting next Wednesday, 11/30, the Dharma Discussions group will be taking a break. It will resume in January. Wednesday meditation will continue as usual from 7 to 8pm.
We are presently meeting at The Church in Silver Lake, 2951 Kent Road (Route 59), Silver Lake, between Cuyahoga Falls and Stow. See Our Location for directions and map.
The Akron-Canton Shambhala Meditation Center is a part of an international community of urban meditation and rural retreat centers founded by Chögyam Trungpa, Rinpoche and headed by Sakyong Mipham, Rinpoche. We are part of a global community which aspires to awaken kindness, goodness and wisdom within society.
This vision is rooted in the principle that every human being has a fundamental nature of basic goodness.
We invite you to explore our diverse programs designed to help people of all traditions discover their inherent sanity, gentleness and humor.
A group meets in Fremont (between Akron and Toledo) on Saturdays from 12:30 to 2:00 PM. Please contact Marlene Ellis, 419-902-9918 or email@example.com, for more information.
