Practices for Sickness and Injury
The Shambhala lineage provides the opportunity for the worldwide community to ask for, receive, and practice compassion practices for yourself and for people you know who are ill or injured.
There is an international Shambhala community tonglen (compassion practice) request page on the Shambhala Network.
If you are not a member of the Shambhala Network, which is our online social app, you can join by following this link.
Once you have joined, to post a tonglen request, go to the “Announce” icon at the top of the page. Once on the “Announce” page, scroll down to “Sangha Announce.” You will see a click-through to “Post a Tonglen Request.” Click on “New Topic” to post your requests to the list (about 9000 people) there.
If you have questions, or would like to place yours or another’s name on our practice list, please contact Toni Miller, Akron-Canton Shambhala Health & Well-Being Coordinator, firstname.lastname@example.org
