Please join us at the Shambhala Center to celebrate the changing season with food, family, and celebration!

On Sunday, September 23rd, we will celebrate our annual Nyida day of Harvest of Peace.  Nyida days are family-oriented celebrations and occasions for local Shambhala communities to gather and practice and enjoy food and each other’s company. Open to all.

We will open our Harvest of Peace celebration with the Shambhala Sadhana. This is a beautiful practice with mantra and visualization. Please bring mala beads (if you have them) to use during the sadhana

At 11:30 a.m. (following the Shambhala Sadhana) our Harvest of Peace celebration will continue with a potluck lunch. Please feel free to bring a dish to share. Help us celebrate the season where the harvest brings abundance.

At about 12:15 we will gather for a community meeting. This is the time to ask questions about Shambhala and bring your suggestions for programs, classes and activities.

    Open to all.

10:00 Shambhala Sadhana (note change--bring your malas with you)
